Ink splatters, but with the right colour, and right touch, some of these brushes would look great as blood as well.

There are 29 brushes, from ~550px wide to ~2300px wide. (I made these brushes so I could use them in print work, but they do downsize nicely with some help from the unsharp mask filter.) PhotoShop 7/Win only.
